The AEEGA reflects many of the major recommendations and findings of Reach Higher, America, the final report of the National Commission on Adult Literacy. The corresponding Senate bill (S.1468) was also introduced on July 16th by Senators Jim Webb (VA) and Sherrod Brown (OH).
